    This speciality coffee is sourced from cooperatives and small holder associations located across Colombia’s most famous co\ufb00ee-growing region. Every bag of Bochica purchased supports SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS <\/span>in local communities.<\/h6>\n
    These small holder farmers typically use the traditional fully washed method of processing. Cherry is selectively handpicked and then pulped, usually on the farm. After pulping, co\ufb00ee is fermented in tanks for 26 to 36 hours. Then, parchment is washed in clean water and laid on parabolic beds to sundry for up to 20 days. We pay a premium for sun-drying, and for overall quality, to help producers remain sustainable.<\/h6>\n

      Our Cascavel Verde (Portuguese for green) is sweet, versatile Brazilian coffee with notes of brown sugar and a citrus-like acidity.<\/h6>\n
      Brazil accounts for 40% of all the worlds coffee production and most Brazilian coffees are grown on huge farms, built and equipped for mechanical harvesting and processing. Our coffees are sourced from INDEPENDENT FARMS<\/span> smaller than 7.5 hectares using a mix of traditional and manual harvesting, where ripe coffee is picked using a Derricadeira \u2013 a sort of mechanised rake that uses vibration to harvest ripe cherry. A tarp is spanned between coffee trees to capture the cherry as it falls.<\/h6>\n
